NASA’s Perseverance rover has captured a breathtaking panorama of the Martian landscape, revealing a windswept terrain of diverse rock textures. This enhanced-color image, taken on April 5, 2026, showcases the rover’s deepest push west beyond Jezero Crater, providing one of the most detailed geological views of the mission. The panorama is a mosaic of 46 images, offering a rich and nuanced perspective of the Martian surface. The natural-color version, Figure A, provides a realistic representation of the landscape, while the 3D anaglyph version, Figure B, designed for use with red-blue glasses, adds depth and dimension to the scene.
